Terms of Service
Welcome to Kiddil. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Kiddil website at kiddil.com and the products and services we offer (the "Service"). Kiddil is operated by Kiddil LLC ("Kiddil", "we", "us", or "our"), based in Cairo, Egypt. By using our website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.
1. Our products
Kiddil creates personalised children's storybooks in which your child becomes the hero of an illustrated story. Books are available as digital eBooks and/or printed hardcovers. Illustrations and story text are produced with the assistance of artificial intelligence, based on the details you provide, and reviewed for quality.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian, to place an order. By placing an order that includes a child's details, you confirm that you are the child's parent or legal guardian, or that you have their permission to use the child's information.
3. The content you provide
To create a book you may give us a child's name, age, photo, and similar details. You confirm that you have the right to share this content and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you submit — please review it carefully, as personalised products cannot be returned for errors in the information provided (see our Refund & Returns Policy).
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to upload content that is unlawful or offensive, or that depicts or refers to a child without the consent of their parent or guardian. We may refuse or cancel any order that breaches these Terms or that we believe is being misused.
5. Intellectual property & your licence
The Kiddil name, logo, website, story templates, and underlying technology belong to Kiddil LLC and are protected by law. When your order is paid in full, you receive a personal, non-commercial licence to enjoy the finished book you purchased. You may not resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit our books or content without our written permission.
6. Pricing & payment
Prices are shown in Egyptian Pounds (EGP) and include applicable taxes where required. We may change prices at any time. Payment is processed securely by our payment providers, and your order is confirmed once payment is received.
7. Delivery
Digital eBooks are delivered electronically. Printed books are made to order and delivered within Egypt in line with our Shipping Policy. Estimated times are guidance, not guarantees.
8. Returns
Because our books are personalised, returns are limited as described in our Refund & Returns Policy. Please read it before ordering.
9. Disclaimers & liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kiddil LLC's total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Cairo, Egypt.
