Description
An 89-piece wooden model kit that builds a panoramic scene of the pyramids and Egyptian monuments inside a retro television-shaped frame. It is a build first and an ornament afterwards — when it is finished it is meant to sit on a shelf, not go back in the box.
The details
- Ages: 12 years and up
- Pieces: 89
- Material: wood

How you play
- Lay the pieces out and identify the frame parts first.
- Build the outer television frame.
- Assemble the pyramids and monuments in layers, following the steps.
- Set the layers into the frame to give the scene its depth.
- Stand the finished piece somewhere it can be seen.
What it builds
- Following a long build sequence to a precise result
- Fine hand control with small wooden pieces
- An idea of depth and perspective, built physically in layers
- Pride in something made that stays on display
Three ways to play it
- Build it over several evenings rather than one long sitting
- Read about each monument as you build it
- Light it from behind and see how the depth changes
