Baby & Toddler Books (0–3)

Books for one-year-olds

In the first year, babies look at pictures more than they follow words. Choose books with thick board pages, big clear pictures and very few words — like the A Day in a Child’s Life series, with little flaps that hide a surprise on every page.

Books for two-year-olds

At two, children point, name things and copy sounds. Sound books like My Sound Book: Animal Sounds, 3D pop-up stories and short bilingual tales like The Lion and the Mouse turn reading time into play.

Learning books for ages 2–3

For a book that teaches through play, activity books like Color & Learn (ages 2–3) and My First Games practise colours, shapes and pencil grip with colouring, mazes and dot-to-dot.

Reading with a toddler

Five minutes a day is enough. Let them turn the pages, name what they point at, and don't worry if they want the same book every night — repetition is how they learn.
