How you play
- Clip the cross base together and stand it on a flat surface.
- Agree a throwing line — the further back, the harder it gets.
- Take a ring and aim for a post.
- Score it however you like: by post, or by colour.
- Play until everyone has thrown their rings, then count up.

- Judging distance with the eye and matching force to it
- Aim that improves visibly over a few rounds
- Counting and keeping score
- Taking turns and playing in a group, indoors or outside
Three ways to play it
- Give the furthest post the highest score
- Move the throwing line back each round
