Block Pattern Duel — Speed Building Race (Frog)

A head-to-head building race for up to four players. Each has their own set of coloured blocks, and a card is turned over showing a design. Everyone builds it at once, stacking and placing until it matches — the first one finished takes the round.

How you play

1. Give each player an identical set of blocks.
2. Turn over a design card so everyone can see it.
3. Start at the same time and build the design from your own blocks.
4. Check yours matches the card exactly, not just roughly.
5. The first to match it correctly wins the round.

What it builds

• Copying a design accurately while under time pressure
• Reading a picture and turning it into a build order
• Checking your own work before claiming a win
• Playing in a group and going again straight away

Three ways to play it

• Play without racing so accuracy comes before speed
• Build the design from memory after looking at the card for five seconds
• Take turns choosing which card is played
