Description
A box of 188 coloured wooden shapes — triangles, squares, hexagons and diamonds — with pattern cards showing pictures built from them, like an owl or an animal. Your child picks the shapes that fit and lays them out to match, and once the cards run out the same pieces make anything they invent.

How you play
- Tip the pieces out and sort them roughly by shape.
- Pick a pattern card and look at the picture on it.
- Find the shape and colour each part of the picture needs.
- Lay the pieces down until the picture is complete.
- Put the cards away and build something of your own.
What it builds
- Seeing how small shapes combine into a bigger one
- Matching precisely, since a near-enough shape leaves a gap
- Colour and shape vocabulary across a large, varied set
- Free design once the cards stop leading
