Children's Books
Children's books in Arabic and English for every stage — from a baby's first board book to stories of the prophets and activity books that get them ready for school.
How to choose the right book for your child
Age matters most. Babies up to one year love big, clear pictures and thick board pages they can grab and turn. Between one and three, children start to enjoy lift-the-flap books, pop-up stories and sound books, because they learn with their hands and ears. From three, they can follow a whole story — the time for picture books, stories of the prophets and colouring and activity books.
Arabic or English?
Both help. We stock books entirely in Arabic, books in English, and bilingual titles such as My First Illustrated Arabic–English Dictionary and the Caillou talking pen, which reads words and sentences aloud in both languages.
How many books is enough?
Young children love hearing the same story again and again, so one book read every day beats ten on a shelf. For a gift, book sets put a small library in one box.
