Parent guides: Easy Science Experiments for Kids at Home: Step by Step, by Age · Games That Build Your Child’s Skills, by Age: 1, 18 Months, 2, 3, 4–5 and 6+

1. Assemble the transparent maze and plant the seed where the kit shows.
2. Water it and place it where light comes from one side.
3. Check it every day and note what has changed.
4. Watch the shoot bend around each obstacle towards the light.
5. Record how many days it takes to reach the top.

• That a plant responds to light — seen, not told
• Patience across an experiment measured in days
• Observation and record keeping, like a real method
• Curiosity about how living things behave

• Draw the maze each day and mark how far the shoot has reached
• Turn the maze around halfway and see what the shoot does
• Run two mazes with different amounts of light and compare
