Weather Station Kit — Measure Wind, Rain and Temperature

A kit for building a small weather station and a sealed planter to go with it. Your child measures wind, rainfall and temperature, and watches how those readings affect a plant growing inside the glass. Two experiments that speak to each other.

How you play

1. Assemble the weather station parts and set them outside or on a sill.
2. Plant the seeds in the sealed planter.
3. Take a reading each day — wind, rain, temperature.
4. Note the reading alongside how the plant has grown.
5. After a week or two, look back and see whether the two line up.
