How you play
- Draw a card and look at the activity and the time on it.
- Find the hour hand and the minute hand by their colours.
- Move the hands to match the time on the card.
- Check the two against each other.
- Talk about when in your child's day that activity actually happens.

- Telling the hour hand from the minute hand, which is the first hurdle
- Reading a clock face rather than a digital display
- A sense of a day having an order and a shape
- Planning language — before, after, at, until
Three ways to play it
- Pick tomorrow's cards the night before and set the clock for each
- Set a time yourself and ask your child what happens then
- Put the clock where they can see it and check it against the real one
